Hi,
If anyone is interested in volunteering for trail building/maintenance on the Hurtwood (Peaslake) then please post something here or email mtb@hurtwoodcontrol.co.uk
This year we have the following:
1. Monthly Sunday morning sessions (usually every 2nd Sunday in a month)
2. Monday evening 2hr sessions (starting 11 May whilst there's enough light).
3. Improved and more sustainable end to BKB. We will need volunteers for key stages of a project happening later in the year. No more details at present.
Ideally we are looking for people to come along regularly and become part of a growing team (training and tools are provided). If you can only make one date or just want to come along to see how you get on then that's fine and your help would be appreciated.
Using our local knowledge of what works and recognised IMBA trail building methods we are are rolling out a plan to bring the legacy trail system up to a more durable and all-year rideable standard and we need more people to be a part of this and to help make it succeed.
